My dad and I launched out of Catawba Friday morning and blasted out to Niagara reef. We jigged black/purple and pink/ purple hair jigs with shinners. Ended up catching 16 fish between 15 and 24 inches. We had 8 fish that were right at that 15 inch mark so we let those go back. Only kept fish 16 inches and up. Once we ran out of big shiners we decided to try trolling so we set up on the east side of the range cans. Water was dirty marks everywhere though. We picked up one female on perfect 10 30-30 with 2 Oz snap weight. Then wind died and fish went to the bottom. I decided to try a bottom bouncer with a worm harness. Picked up one more female. With the lake turning flat at 1230 we decided to go to the fish cleaners and grab a bite to eat. It was a great day on the water😀. Too bad it's going to blow again next two days.
