Newbie question on jigging
Troller here, never tried jigging for walleyes. Do you drift or anchor/spot lock? If you drift, what is an ideal or max speed? Thanks for your help.

I usually drift slow. Sometimes 2 drift socks out to slow it down. I like to go .3-.5. Just make sure to are able to make bottom contact with your jig. Try not to drag it along the bottom. Sometimes subtle hops other times aggressive hops. Don't forget to try a blade bait. My favorite way to catch spring eyes.
Good luck

Are these also called Vibies? I have heard of them, but have never tried them.
