Wanta buy a boat with sides?
I have a 25' chriscraft that I trailer with a half ton pickup. It is 28' overall. 32' from tongue to prop. Very heavy, over 5500 lb when loaded. Not counting the trailer weight. I went from a steel roadrunner trailer to an ace aluminum. Went from 2200 lb to 1100 lb. Big, big difference. My advice is get an aluminum trailer.
I bought a '17 stratos 386xf and couldn't be happier with my decision. Handles waves on the lake and we put it to use in the bay and river in Pittsburgh while tubing etc. Complete fishing package for under 40k.
That's not what you said 2 years ago! Problem with the sportcraft is I'm going to have to wear a life vest, I can see me falling out.
I'm brokering a 2014 Striper 220DC at Marine Max in Catawba. Boat will be there this coming Thursday. Boat has a 200 Yamaha, tandom axle trailer, windless, lowerance HDS8, VHF radio, snap out carpet. Very good boat for fishing and playing. Stop by and see Jonathan.
