Headed north to American eagle, lots of marks, lots of hatch, caught 3 shorts drifting there using gold and orange bead weapons. Moved to just south of Lucy's, lots of marks, nothing but sheep. Headed northeast to line. Once again tons of hatch, tons of good marks, 5 shorts casting . Switched up , ran 2 harnesses at 60, 2 ounce, 2 bandits, ib frozen at 110 , speed 2.2 . One real good one at boat, lost it. Threw in towel at 230pm. All in all the hatch is real big and there bellies are full I believe. Good luck to all!!

Good going BRED! I couldn't get a program West of the shoals yesterday. What did hatch look like out east?

The hatch is big and messy. Found one pattern today that worked ok. Drifting 3 oz leads and small gold blade crawler harnesses. Got so busy I couldn't eat a sandwich for keeping 2 lines in the water. All the action was in 40-45 feet of water NW of Kelly. Lots of shorts but a couple fat 18 in hers in there too.

Hatch wasn't too bad Friday, wind forecast was too high for us to try today (Saturday) went out of Cranberry Creek about 4 miles north, about 40' caught 3 limits 3 oz 20' back ( about 10'deep) at 2 mph , fish were high probably eating mayflies ,it took about an hour to figure out they were up high and 2 hours to fill the tickets done by 10:30

Nice work once again BRED!! I'm an old school drifter from early 80s and 90s. Love to cast when I can. Finally invested in in lines this season and got the precision trolling data app. Still playing around with the this technique, I'll get her dialed in better but sounds like you've got her figured out. Good going !

We went out Friday casting weapons and drifting bottom bouncers. Started at Gull Island Shoal. A few marks, but nothing to get excited about. Not even a bite. Moved in to American Eagle shoal and had some decent marks, but no bites. Lots of mayfly hatch in that area. Wasn't to bad further north. Decided to pack it in and take a boat ride.....
