looking for info on captains license

thinking about getting a captains license and looking for info about classes...any help would be appreciated

Look up the US Coast Guard web site. You should be able to select Great Lakes six pax license information.

thanks spoontang.I did that before my post and could only find classes during the week in cleveland.I'm from cincinnati area ....however I did find a sea tech marine,classes every weekend through february

You might also find classes offered by a number of groups that can give you the classroom portion and testing but it gets a little pricey. I'll do a little searching too.

through a buddy of mine who is a charter boat,I found a place called sea tech marine.they are out of buffalo ny. but have a class every weekend for 4 weeks starting on jan. 31 in port clinton
