Decided to hop on one of our fine Port Clinton Head Boats since my Cayenne Angel was in the shop for an electronics update. We drifted some reefs for 5 hours. (Won't say exactly where out of respect for the Captain.) What I will say is we had a steady pick of mixed fat 14" shorts and very health 17" eaters.

Mostly dark purple or yellow hair jigs with 3" stingers on. Over half the fish came in on the stingers only. We had company out there..... but sure there would have been more had it not been for the steep 4' chop out of the east with an occassional 6'+ roller. It was a good day to be on a big boat.

My personal score: 3 shorts, 3 eaters. Jesus was a boater and a fisherman. I hope he approves.

Tight Lines All!
