Ice Fishing?

Anyone been out on the ice? LOL. How about you Jim? Did you get the Coastguard ice cutter to make you a path?

We where discussing ice fishing off the boat last night, but I brought up the fact that we both put our Vexilars away already. There is a nice picture of the boat from yesterday, but I will let Jim put that up here.

I was out with jim on sunday, lake was not too bad, but the water spray froze to everything on contact. Couldn't see out the windows, had to put salt on the deck, the main line froze to the boat, the clips to the mainline, the braid did surprisingly did not freeze to clips. Had to knock the ice off the rod holder to even fit the poles in. But sure was nice to be out on the water again, can't wait for a great fishing season.

OMG that's some hard core fishing! So.... how did you guys do? Did you go to the cans or stay close? Details please.

Anyone planning to fish this weekend? Firing range area have fish yet or still cedar point/Huron where it's at?
