    Default Question for Wakina

    I was wondering since we dock our boats at the same marina, how bad is the algae on the bottom of your hull and motor. I'm docked in slip 3 and the algae was really bad over there. Is it as bad where your docked? Thanks Chris

    Yes it is bad! Seems like anytime you dock in a harbor or marina that does not have the water flow that the algae and moss are for more severe than in areas where the water has more movement or flow to it. I usually just power wash it when I pull the boat in the fall and it comes off rather well with the power washer. Double check the water inlet for the engine as Zebra Mussels seem to like those little holes.
