Perch/ Walleye Trip 11/2/16

Wife and I had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Kevin Swartz out of Port Clinton today with great success. Left the Mazurik launch at approx. 8 a.m. to fish for perch. With great weather we had a three man ticket by 11 a.m., not much sorting, most were between 9-11" with a few 12's. Upon making finial count of perch, we then went walleye fishing. After a short run to the walleye grounds it was game on. Couldn't even get all the rods in the water before we had two 23-24" walleye in the boat within the first 5 minutes. Caught 8 small mouth, what a fight, several freshwater drum and even a few cats. With time running out and a drive back to Michigan we headed in with 13 walleyes in a two hour experience. With Kevin's great knowledge of the Lake Erie fishery and perfect weather, we had a super way to celebrate our 43rd. wedding anniversary. Great Job Capt. Kevin
