Suggestions, eyes or perch

Wanting to get the wife and son out another time. Been duck and goose huntin last 2 weekend's and the dog got great workout. Now the question, try trolling for eyes or perching. Looking to stay around catawba, Kelley's. Just got new trolling rods, line counter reels and a bunch of reef runners, bandits and etc. Want to use them however not sure if this is the time. Anyone know if there's any decent action off catawba green can for perch? Hit them good few weeks ago but kind of going in blind. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. This has been an awesome community to work with this summer. Everyone stay safe and FISH on!!

We had a decent pick out of mazuriks last night. 27 fow south of kelleys on the west side. Fished 430-630 and left with 44 over 8". A dozen or so under and a bunch of small-eyes. No perch over 9.5" but was a good night.

We fished south of g can the 1st. Pick 60 nice perch, had 4 over 12 inch. 1 walleye on the spreader at 17". Lost 3 hooks riped right off the line with positive hook ups with something good sized snd then 10 cranks or so later nothing to find the hook ripped from the snell. So the rest of that package got put aside to get tossed and a differant brand went on.

That makes 3 eyes in 2 trips out there with lots of decent marks. WE also had 4 white bass pushing 2 pounds.
