Shiners or goldies? How was water clarity? Today's satellite shows a stained band looks like right down across A and B can. Hope to be out there somewhere Monday.

Aj's had a mixed I'd say 70% shiners, but didn't seem to matter. Fri. was a little cloudy at A can when we started at 7:00 caught 15 perch in first hour. Moved to N.W. of W. Sister to hunt for clean water. Pack of boats there, fished another hour, caught maybe 12 but were smaller fish. Water was clean. Friend called us back to A can, said they were catching nice perch, keeping all 8" and better. Took us till 1:00 to get 4 man limit, but all nice fish! Sat. we started 7:30 lake got rough, but the perch were biting. Done 4 man limit by 10ish. But the lake really got clear. Only boat on A can. Hope this helps Lefriend. Didn't fish Sunday. HIGH NOON

Much appreciated. Let you know how we do. Cooled off but supposed to be sunny and calm tomorrow so will be interesting to see what mood they are in. Might as well start at A

A Can Mon 9-12
Thanks for the tip High Noon! Lines in water around 9 AM today maybe 300-600 yards (?) NW of A can. Rather bumpy and very slow first hour - caught only 3 or 4. Then about 10 they turned on (seemed to start as wind started to lay). A few bursts but mostly a steady but slow bite. Not up and down, but never really stopped or any dead spots either. Finished a little after 1 PM with a nice three man limit and bite was still going decent. More bigger fish than we have been getting so real nice grade. Several on radio doing about same as us with nice fish. Water was pretty cloudy/stained but perch didn't seem to mind. Quite a few boats. Also nice pack at L can but don't know how they were doing. Mix of emeralds and goldies, didn't matter.
