Cutchers has a commercial scaler. He is honest and they do a great job. He has multiple cutters. If you have to wait it's because everyone is bringing fish in to be cleaned.

Yes Cutcher uses a commercial scaler and runs them thru twice, it takes about 1 min to completely scale one 30 fish limit. Shattos did use those government issued commercial potato peelers (They had at least 2 operating at one time)but like I said I have not been there in a few years. Those potato peelers do a reasonably good job but are rough on the fish, although I don't think it hurts the quality of the fillet any.

Is cutchers still out behind the brick house? Do they have regular hours? Tried them a couple times in years past but once was a long wait and sometimes no one there, so haven't used them.

Butch and Denny's do do a good job too. One of the few to the west so they can get backed up on a busy day if you get in there late. On plus, they do have cutters stay into the evening so you can get your fish if you are willing to wait or if you go there late. Not any restaurants real close to them, so not much to do while you wait on your fish.

Went to butch and Dennys today with 30 fish I was in early so I didn't have to wait long but I'm close so I went back to the boat and washed her down. If you live farther away you may have an hour or so but they do a good job.
    Thanks Matt

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
