4 man limit on pearch

Dropped anchor about 12:30 today, 20 fow in front of wards canal, had our 4 man limit by 4:00. Used croppie rigs with no bling. Threw back 30 or 40 6 inchers, 20 lbs at the cleaners. Great afternoon on the lake. Fishermans cave had emeralds mixed with sands didn't seem to matter what you used the pearth were hitting what ever we put down there.

Neighbor and I were at Toledo harbor light today, perch were a bit slow when the wind died down and even slower when the wind picked up hard in the afternoon. We kept 26 but threw back those under 8". Probably could have doubled that catch if we kept the smaller ones. Weatherman kind of missed there forecast today, this morning calling for less than 2 ft but on the way in around 2pm they were 3 plus and building. Sort of makes you want to be a weather man doesn't it.....keep being wrong and still getting paid for it!!
