    The fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb is a solid steel line because if that line leaks while your running its gonna pump fuel in the bilge of your boat. I recommend buying a (OEM) original equipment manufacturer fuel line to replace it. And don't use thread tap on the fittings use pipe dope that is alcohol resistant. Good luck happy fishing.
