Awesome catch! Great job landing it on that gear!! 17# mono and a walleye net,... now that's an accomplishment and I'm sure it took some patience.
Is that fish out there swimming around today?

A guy I work with was fishing near middle sister this weekend and landed a musky just like that one, he released it. I'm thinking with all of these short walleyes the musky's are out further feeding on them.

sounds like we can use 7-9 inch stickbaits in walleye and rainbow trout colors to target them.

Looks like those muskies will fatten up fast with all those baby walleye.Would be nice if they just ate gobies,sheephead and white perch!
