Default Walleye - Perch Combination Outing

My brother-Inlaw is coming in town tonight for the weekend.

I was thinking about taking some minnows and the perch rods with us due to this awesome weather.

Anyone have any perch fishing results between Davis Bessie and the MH lighthouse?

    Appreciate any insight

its east of where you intend to fish but south east of SB island I had really nice looking perch marks monday and we caught several 8 to 9 inch perch casting for walleye. I was wishing I had brought minnows along. hope it helps

That is actually right in front of us. What side if Scott point shoal or starve island reef were you? What water depth?

    Thanks for the help

Drifter I would say we were SE of the reef maybe .25 mi in 25 FOW. almost straight north of green buoy slightly east of the green buoy. the red buoy was probably half a mile due west of us

For what it's worth, if you should buy some minnows you can always salt and freeze the ones you don't use. If you should happen to not have minnows and find yourself on a school of Perch you can use the belly meat and the eyes from other fish, i.e. white perch, sheep, etc.

Perched for about 4 hours today in front of Lakeside and Marblehead Lighthouse. Got 12 keepers 8"-9" caught a lot of 6"-7" and plenty of trash. I can't tell you where to go but I can tell you where not to go
