This is my first post on this site. The site seems to be very helpful for all the fishermen who need some assistance. I plan on heading to the lake for the first time Monday. I will be camping in the Turtle Creek area and was wondering if anyone is still catching walleye in that area. I will take all the help that anyone is willing to offer. I used to bass fish all over the US. and have not fished Erie for years. I need to do some walleye fishing cause I'm hungry for some fish. The majority of my bass fishing was all catch and release. If anyone is camping at Magee's let me know and we can share fish stories.

There was fish being caught out in front of turtle creek and west of there in close trolling Bandits and Flicker Minnows. After this blow this weekend I have no idea where the active fish will be. It will be a crap shoot. Good luck and be safe

We limited Friday with 700 reef runners at 120' back and bandits at 80' back. 15' of water 1.6-1.9 was best

I have heard find clean water out front and start jigging 3/4 ounce hair jigs with or with out minnows. I have also been hearing 13ft and cloudy water was working too. I would head out front of turtle and find 15 ft and start there.
