Headed out to the lake on Saturday, thinking 3' max waves based on NOAA frequently inaccurate forecast. Stopped for Ice at Happy Hooker Bait shop and met some guys saying they had been out early and came back as waves probably more like 4-5' with occasional higher.

Decided to hold off for awhile and went to Wild Wings for breakfast, everyone else must have had same idea. Place was packed and took quite some time to get food. Finally did get out on lake around 11, drifted and jigged with hare jigs for a couple hours in 16 to 14' water off Turtle Creek, no luck, moved once.

Decided to try trolling, went out north of cone reef and trolled area until about 4, caught only one on green and orange Deep Husky Jerk. Little rougher than we would like. Today should be nicer day. Would be nice to get some better fish info for us guys that don't go out that often. Didn't see alot of trollers, mainly jigging and casting. Some fish being caught, not fast and furious.
