How are the waves and jiggin? 4-16-16

Hey gang,

Lookin to head out tomorrow morning around Besse and the reefs for some jiggin. Wanted to know how the waves are to get an idea of what to prepare for for tomorrow. Also, how has the jig bite been the last few days? Any colors seem to be producing better than others? Minnows or no?

Im going out tomorrow in front of Bessie. We caught limit in 13 ft. on 4-13 Wednesday. John Deere Green / Purple both hair jigs with minnows. Also white jig with black twister tail all caught equal amount of fish. was very rough Wednesday. Sunday looks 1-2ft waves on east wind at six according to I-wind surf Marblehead. If no action there we will troll DH12 in deeper water. Will just have to find fish no set location for trolling. Good Luck.

Cool, glad to hear of some catching. I saw the forecasted winds were 5mph or less but with an East wind, I'm sure there will be a bit of a chop. Just wondering how the lake is today, cause I figure tomorrow will be similar. What channel are you on toms1? Maybe we can help each other out tomorrow.

we were out this morning got 8 in deeper water was the best right at the clean-stained water line.

I don't have a radio. should get one. 20ft Lund green. friends caught 2 man limit in 15-16 ft this morning . I'll start there.
