I believe everything that you mentioned on your side of the debate. The high pressure that has settled in for a few days will dominate the equation, so long as the east wind stays a breeze and not a blow. The stagnant high pressure should enable this. Fish will be caught. Everybody gets them Saturday and Sunday! Fish ON!

Today was an east and then a east northeast wind with white water and 3+ footers and we caught 6 nice fish. Not a great day but better than most from the people I talked to.

I've caught plenty of fish in a east and north east wind trolling with the waves. but the water can get very rough and put a stop to my fishing. as long as the waves stay 3' or less I will fish a east wind. some of my best fishing on the central basin has been a north east wing and a south west troll.
