Transom replace

Hey guys, have gathered a lot of info from you over the last few yrs thanks for that! Now I need some more info from you. Me and dad have a 23' Wellcraft docked out at fenwick but are looking to upgrade for next season. During our long search we found a 27' Sportcraft that's set up exactly how we want. Problem is it needs the transom replaced. If the price was right we would consider it but we have no clue how much a transom rebuild costs. Anybody help me out with a round about number I realize every jobs different. Thanks a lot guys

is this sportcraft a full inboard or an inboard/outboard. most boat a transom replacement with no stringer issues is 2000-3000 average. we just replace one on our four wins deck boat this summer. not a physical hard job but a very time consuming and dirty job

Sportcraft is a straight inboard. 2-3k is what I was thinking to. As long as there's not a lot of other issues. The boat was just surveyed and didn't note any other issues

we have a 30 ft. great lakes special sport craft, last winter
we had whole boat redone, trasom, all stringers. all balk heads,
front bathroom, and floors re done, Total cost was 14,000.00
the boat guy on front street in toledo did the work, did excellent
job, and was far cheaper than the six other bids we got. I would

I have my 27 sportcraft for sale it is listed on this site ,has new stringers /Transum /done the boat guy ,also new canvas / boat is in excellent shape $11,500 I want to buy a walk around I can trailer in retirement
