Santa's gift

Santa stuffed my stocking with 6 tru-trip 40's and what a welcome sight for sure. But a question about these divers came up. Just what can they pull? I usually pull just spoons and harnesess with my Jet #30's but I caught somewhere on this form that others were pulling thier J7 and J9 at times with good results. Is this a sure thing or just an experiment by someone? If this is true are there other lures that could be pulled?

Congrats on a great Christmas gift! You can pull just about any lure that works with a diver. I pulled J-7's and the RR rip sticks with good results this past season with the Tru-trip 40. I also find it easier to read the inline boards with the tru-trips also. I will never go back to the jet divers again.

I completely agree, pulling inline boards with 40 TT works nice.
