    Default Need fish cleaning-Wauseon,Swanton,Delta,Maumee,or Perrysburg

We fish every weekend and have our fish cleaned at Butch and Denny's near Anchor Point. Due to a change in the way the are handling fish it now takes us over 2 1/2 hours to get them cleaned. We are looking for someone to clean on our route home, Perrysburg, Maumee, Whitehouse, Swanton, Delta or Wauseon.

What is the change and how are they doing it. We went there last fall and was good service, but can't wait 2.5 hours when you are 2 hours from home! See this is an older post so maybe you are talking walleye instead of perch.

Due to the new skin attached/fish countable rule, B&D's will no longer freeze fish for pick up at a later date. So they no longer put the fish aside that are to be frozen and clean strictly on first come/first serve basis. It kind of sucks for us because we would always pick up last weeks catch as we drop off this weeks. Now if we don't want to wait, we have to come back within 3 days to pick them up.

Bummer. Hope it isn't like that during perch season. We got in and out reasonably quick this week, but it was a slow day on the lake. And I hope it will change with the rules change for next year. Sounds like they are going back to no skin, whole filets, and you can chunk them if you have receipt with date, number caught, from a fish house or charter boat. At least that was the proposed change that was in the paper.

If your in a hurry, Might suggest you tip them when you weigh your fish in, always seems to speed up the process [if you know what I mean]
