Does anyone on here have any experience with the amish outfitter redwood boards and if so how hard do they really pull? How many lines are you running of each side? cranks or harnesses? I just received my pair and I am not very impressed with the workmanship of them. I have not used them yet but like I said they sure don't look like quality 200.00$ boards. That included the price of the suggested 500lb tow line and shipping. Thanks.

Altho I use big boards I never seen any made by Amish Outfitters. If there is a problem with them call them about your concerns and arrange replacement or
just return them. I hate to admit it but I have tried any number of boards and
most work as they should. I have 3 different sets and I usually end up using
the Canon collapsables most times, cedar homemade on iffy weather and Big
Jon's Otters when expecting it to be rough that day. I usually run only run 2 or
3 lines per side and that may mean a difference for sure.

thanks gene. I am running up tomorrow night and heading out Friday. I am going to put them to the test. I will be running 3 or 4 per side depending on my guys that show up. They claim to be hard pulling but we will see. I will give them a fair shake. I will post honest results this weekend.

well we went out yesterday out of Catawba state park and put the new boards in only to have them flipped out of the water and upside down by the waves. We then tucked in behind bass island and ran inline boards and avoided the 5 footers.

Sorry about your first try with those boards. It turns into a Chinese fire drill for sure. Give them another shot soon. I don't think I even entertained the thought
of going yesterday. Picked up my boat today from canvas shop today and hope
to put her in Monday. The itch is killing me.
