    Cool How long of leader

    HAVE BEEN PLAYIN WITH HOW LONG THE LEADER IS BEHIND MY JETS....WONDERING HOW LONG SOME OF U GUYS RUN THEM....THANKS

    personnal preference. I run 6fters. I also run 7ft rods so 8ft leaders are too long and have not seen any difference in hook ratio.

    Have been from 3 to 6 found 5 to b best cause of 6 ft rods...but like u said no diff in bite ratio...do think 5 over the 3 is better ..have had more on the longer than short....

    At least 6'. Do not be afraid to try longer and thinner if the bite is poor/spooky!
