    Default Best net

    Hello to all,

Anyone have any recommendations on the best net for Lake Erie? I have major problems with the treble hooks from bandits get intertwined and knarled in my net. Lost alot of fishing time due to this problem.

    Thank you!

I like the Ranger nets, mostly because they are lightweight and strong enough for walleye, long extendable handle length, and baskets is not too deep.... but as far as wrapping up the hooks on bandits? - Eh... they still can wrap up pretty bad. But I'll deal with that vs. trying to swing a monsterously heavy net around all day. Beckman's are great nets also, just have to have the right basket on them. They tend to use a very deep basket.
