    Default Any Walleye around cans..

Just wondering if anyone has been getting any walleye around the cans /reefs/or West Sisters.. I am going to be spending several days in the Turtle Creek area before having the boat wrapped. I have not been able to fish but once this year and would like to get a few eyes for the winter larder.. The last few time at the campground none of the guys I talked to were getting anything but perch..

If you can tow the boat, Huron has been great lately

After dark on top of the Reefs have been nothing short of amazing casting Crankbait. Fished 4 different reefs in the past 2 weeks with 2 and 3 man limits in under 2 hours each time. Only a couple of other boats out with the same success.

    Good Luck

If they are there at night one would think they could get some action during the day light hrs too then

We are anchored and casting in 7ft of water. We get there about an hour before sun down to get set up. Don't usually catch our first fish until the sun disappears.

Great post! That sounds like a lot of fun. Is there any size to the fish you are catching with that method?

Mainly 17-22 inch fish with a couple in the 25-27 inch range. Seems the quantity is getting better and better . The Quality will improve as the water cools.
