Black Pearl was right, this was one of the most fun headboat trips that I have ever been on. There was more food than you could shake a stick at, and those Subs were some of the best I have had. I could even tolerate Black Pearl on the bullhorn, he did a good job organizing and pulling this event off, it went without a hitch as far as I am concerned. Everyone was friendly and helpful to those who needed it. My one word summary is "FANTASTIC". I hope you don't mind that I shouted that.

Here is a copy and paste of a report I did earlier in another thread about todays fishing.

"Mostly south of the firing range, We fished South of G-Can, then moved about a mile SSW of F-Can, then the rock pile and then back to South of G-Can. Water clarity varied from very dirty to fairly clear but was changing constantly. The lake still had muddy foam on it from the blow.

I ended the day with 7 and no junk but there were several junk fish caught, mostly white perch and Sheepsheads. There was a couple of 11+ inch fish caught and several 8 to 10 inch and the normal 7 to 8 inch as well as a few shorts.

Final verdict was a good day for fishing but a poor day for catching. No limits were caught that I heard of on our boat. I gave my fish away to a young man who was on his first fishing trip with his father."

We moved near you guys at one point and was picking a few until the cat moved a 2nd time in the area and sat on top of me. We made a 3rd move to the picket fence at 1:30 we had 58. It was game on and we had 195 by 3pm. I was hoping to here the blow horn when i was near you but i must have to far away
