Went north out of walnut perch fishing and that wasn't very productive. Started trolling for eyes headed to the east end of the trench trolling northeast there were 2 spots where we would pick a fish every time we went over them one was in 75 fow the other was 68 so we picked all day boxed 12 including 3 8 pounders purple was the color on reefrunners and worm harnesses.

I had the same action in 100 fow and 95 fow off the point. picked up my six and a steelie in two passes. Purple was the only color that did anything except the steelie was on a cracked coral bayrat. Had to troll 56-60 down and at 2.4 gps.

we fished off shades beach in 55 fow and got 9 trolling willows mostly orange colors did well. We did some jigging tubes for smallies and i picked up a 29" walleye off a green and purple tube. It was a welcomed surprise to us. It was the first time I put in shades beach it wasn't bad. I have an 18' it would be tight for bigger boats. I did enjoy the 2 mile run to 55 fow..
