boat salvage yard

With all the boats around the lake does anyone know where a salvage yard is. I need some parts for my Sportcraft. I am really looking for a used prop 17 or 18 in a 17 or 18 pitch rh. Also I would like to see if they would have some other little parts. Any info would be great thanks

Aero, there is a salvage group in Lasalle Mi. Not knowing of your area if the trip is good for you. they are usally parting out a lot of boats. I don't remember the name but here is the phone number 734-234-2683. I think they have also posted on the Toledo Craigs List.

There is a gentleman at the end of Toledo's northend Summit St. at the Ohio Michigan boarder line that is always a place to stop by and have a look.

Maybe someone here can give you more info about them.

The name of the one Btweenshots is referring too is Checkers marine
3280 west Stein Rd. in La Salle Mi. The last time I was there they didn't have any SportCrafts ,but that was a few years ago. props are pretty standard they'll probably be able to help you out ,

Went to Lairds. He said that they had " 5 or 6" of the boat with hatches that I needed. I seen 1. And that hatch was gone. 75 % of the boats they have are not accessible because the weeds were 10 to 12 foot tall around them and to them. Dude sat there in a chair and offered no help at all.
