Well, being out of port clinton, ill say this coming weekend (April 5 and 6) will be a good start. U should be fine to go out. Temps are susposed to be in the 50's and near 60 on Tuesday, so id go with next weekend. Good luck!

I have the same question that you do however, we drove around today and saw 4 boats docked at Wind Wings. Several others were at Port Clinton, including 3 at the Happy Days Dealer demo docks behind the Clinton Reef condos. The boats at Wind Wings were surrounded by chunks of ice. My biggest concern would be freezing inside of the engine's cooling system if it gets to cold at night. If the water is no longer freezing the parts (IO) under the water line should be OK. I will not take the chance and am waiting until at least the 3rd week of April. I do not have the option of pulling the boat out at short notice.

    good luck.
