Haven't launched at WildWings yet. What's the quality of the launch area? Good access to lake?

It's a steep ramp with a short distance to the rip rap behind you after you launch...it's not a seriously bad flaw, but it can be tight in there when you get a few boats in there trying to launch and or load out. It's a short distance to the lake.

I prefer to launch over at Turtle or Fenwick when I want to fish that area of the lake, due to those reasons...it's a little longer distance to the lake, but not by much.

The ramp is great for putting in because it will allow you to float your boat off instead of sliding it off. It is terrible for pulling your boat out though because it's very steep. I think they fixed the chunk that was missing from the ramp on the right and the distance to the lake isn't bad at all, maybe a 5 minute idle out. They charge $10 but so does Fenwick which has excellent ramps but that bridge over turtle can be an issue if you are too tall.

it gets really really busy there, especially once the jig turns on and word gets out. can be hard to find a place to park the rig, and the docks by ramp dont allow a ton of room to get in line for haul out, so this is some slicing and dicing when busy. but the fish can literally be just a few hu dred yards past the cut
