Ben is correct.This is an ice OUT thread.That big wind Feb16 broke up all the ice in western basin and Saginaw Bay.The only ice that survived was locked in by put in bay.Some of that ice floated back and the cold weather has froze it together.This is not safe ice.Some people have recently ventured back on to Catawba and Saginaw short distances.You had better be very experienced and with ALL of the necessary safety equipment brought with up.Be very careful now if attempting to walk on the ice.Ramps and boat fishing should be happening in 2wks.
