We made it out Friday at about 6:00 pm. Fished by the Condos (west of Beaver Creek). Tried casting harnesses and jigs. Caught a few 18's on a death roll harness. Headed to rocking on the river to watch the AC/DC Tribute. They were great.

Made it out Saturday morning at about 6. Started 2 miles east of lighthouse. Had a decent drift, so tried harnesses and weight forwards. Death roll caught 2 fish at about 20 inches. Tried the same over the dumps, but wind died immediately. Headed to the pack of boats about 2 miles off beaver. Great marks but no takers on casting harnesses. Convinced the girlfriend we needed to troll for at least an hour to get a few fish in the boat. We caught 6 in the hour - all on the death roll harness. Tried different harnesses and some bandits, but no takers. Ran the death rolls at 30/30 with 2 oz snap weights on inline boards in 36 foot of water north of condos. 1.8 mph. We were both tired and hot...so that was enough fish for the day.

Sunday I went out on a buddy's boat with a third tag. Set up 6 lines all bandits on starboard and reef runners on port. Caught 2 on bandits (cheap sunglasses color...same as clown color in other brands) in 10 minutes at 1.8 mph 80 back with no weights.. Kicker motor started acting up and discovered float was sticking. Tried trolling off big motor, but couldn't get it lower than 2.6 mph. No takers at that speed. Headed back in to pull motor to fix carb.
