I guess it did. Two, two man limits the last two days in a row.
    That's a tongue twister.

Going out again tomorrow from SP, have been dragging black & purple harnesses- can you suggest anything better to attract a bit larger Walleye?
Picked up 3 Steelhead last time; cant remember seeing so many. Any explanation?

We were getting bigger fish tight to the bottom with the downriggers and plugs, same depth of water as all the others just kept marking fish on or close to the bottom so thought I would try it, got a couple 4-5 lbers, but had to head in before getting anything bigger.

Steelhead should be starting to stage for heading up the rivers.

We have been getting smaller fish but plenty of them. The DEC girl checked us out yesterday and said everyone has been getting smaller fish. I wish that I knew the secret for getting larger fish. ????
It's suspose to be rough Friday and Sat. But better on Sunday. Be safe everyone.

Thanks for the reply. We fished yesterday - caught 11, all 17"-20", mostly on black & purple harnesses. We have no downriggers, but a silver flatfish(!) was about as productive as a harness. No steelhead. Beautiful day, but few boats. Very light bite; the rod would jerk, then nothing. When we reeled in, there was a fish there. Lazy Walleyes?

We got out this morning. Maybe the last time this year. ??? Depending on the weather. Gonna get a good blow tonight. It may scatter the fish. ??? Got a two man limit in about 1 3/4 hr. The bite was lite, you are right perchDad.
