I want to thank you guys for all the input. Took your advice and tried out the barrel swivel worked out great . One shy of a two-man limit. orange was the hot color most were 19 to 20 in. had one 27in. Was in 18 FOW out in front of Turtle Creek using a drift bag.. funny how a little barrel swivel makes a difference. Thank you again guys and really appreciate your help

If you are out of barrel swivels or want to eliminate that part of the rig all together, you can tie your braid to fluorocarbon leader together via the Alberto knot. It works great, especially in clean water situations.
