Hooking leeches
Does anyone know which end of the leech the hook should go? Anyone ever tried them jigging or throwing erie dearies?

i've always hooked them on the end with the sucker (I believe that's the tail of the leech oddly enough). The leech is a little tougher on that part, and tends to stay on better. I haven't ever tried them on erie... i've mostly used them when fishing northern waters.

That's what I have heard. The big disc on the tail is for clinging on to things and the small one is the mouth.
