    somewhere but I doubt on the big pond. maybe in the marinas to panfish be careful

    Up in Catawba now. Lake is iced up to about the islands. Out near Marblehead it's open water. Doubt it's safe to go out there.

    Looking on coast watch you can see some ice forming, but can also tell it's not solid. If any one goes please be safe
