Late start today due to battery issues,But I broke down at 11:00 and went to Walmart and got a new battery. I saw robots to the west of Kellys, a few boats by the monument, but at 1:45 pm I found a small pack of boats one half mile NW of Miller Ferry Dock by Mouse Island, and one half mile north of the shoreline. Three head boats from Port Clinton were over there, and I found good marks there too. Started out with a bite every 5 min, but 45 min into fishing, I was getting bit as soon as I dropped the bait down. All nice fish with no throw backs. The fish were 9", 9.5", and 10" fish on plain spreaders with large and small shiners slowly jigged up and down. Great fun, comfortable with little wind and waves. Fish were stealing two minnows everytime, so I started cutting shiners in two pieces and I worked great. Going to try on Tues again.
P.S. Watch for trap nets close to shore by Gem Beach and West Harbor, they there and tough to see.
Thanks,
Bruce
