Minn kota also makes a charger that charges the trolling batteries while running. Had one on my last boat. Works great. My buddy had a lot of issues with the stay in charge system. Good luck. Aaron

Which MFD do you have? I have the 9" touch screen non chirp. My tournament partner is a raymarine sponsored pro. We seem to use the non chirp when we're running and use chirp when at trolling speeds...
