Most perch I have caught have 7” or so their air sac is out so I keep them. So I have been taught to keep them if air sac is out. My understanding is Once it’s out they will die If released.

Ok now that I got a new line counter, what is the recommended fishing line. Just walleye for Lake Erie. Saw something about sunline 16lb mono. Clear or Green? Thoughts experiences welcome. Thx

Nice to hear. We launch from SBI and that’s a lot closer than NE of Kelly’s. Hopefully some still there next week. Our first year trolling with boards and cranks as well.

Yes that’s a lot of work. Had one come loose in a pack of boats couple weeks ago. Hit mark on fish finder, Landed A fish, only had to reel in 5 other lines... A charter boat less than 100 yards away...

I found it easier to find a planer board if I hit “Mark” on the fish finder once I know it came off....
