    Re: Bert's Custom Tackle

yeah, we're all here to help each other. i know another engineer and he's as obnoxious as this guy is. if all he's going to do is slam his fellow sportsman he should find a better passtime.

    Re: Bert's Custom Tackle

    Re: Help?

all you need for trolling is a flexible glass rod like an 8' med/light wilderness trolling rod at around 20.00.
for drifting I still prefer a simple rod with more action and a little better...

if you're using the smaller spoons you might want to try the larger spoon. last yr the larger spoons shined. we ran large spoons about 2.7 to 3.0 and they did great. but cranks on wire were better.

    Re: Where are the walleye

with the small ring it's close to a dipsy. but without the ring, I don't have a clue. but there is always a way to know the dive curve and get very close. with 80# test power pro at 1.8 to 2.0 with...

    Re: Advice is welcome

I would be running my dipsies 70' 60' 50' but I'd be willing to adjust if not getting fish. I would try harnesses at 1.8 to 2.0 if I mix spoons in I'd run 2.0 to 2.2. all spoons I'd run 2.5 to 3.0...
