Been hearing nothing but terrible reports for perch around the islands, so has there been any better luck finding some walleyes, further west than the CP dumping ground? I hear they will migrate back...

Catawba state park has a boat launch and Jeanette's bait is right up the road. There's also a boat launch in West Harbor, right by Midway Marina. And Herb's Bait is right up the road from there
