Typically, I'm not usually out this early, but by the end of March there are certainly fish on the north side of Kelly's. Another friend was up there last week, and caught some. It's worth checking...

Already mentioned were the courtesy docks at Mazurik's, but I just wanted to add that at Catawba, you can tie up to the main pier, while you go take your trailer to the lot.

A lot of my customers stay at the "White Caps Motel". It's not fancy, but it's clean, has plenty of room for boats, and no one has complained to me about it.

That surprises me, because you pay to have them mounted, and the actual fish is no longer inside the skin, so it doesn't make sense to me, that you couldn't sell it, to recoup some of the money spent...

The advantage is, better battery life on the trolling motor batteries. In the early spring, when the speeds are super slow, I won't use the kicker, but once I'm going speeds that need the trolling...
