When I swap out treble hooks I go with Mustad TG-76 hooks. They are shorter and wider than a stock hook so I can go 1-2 sizes bigger in size without affecting the lure action plus the wider hook...

    8/4/19 walleye report

I went out of Geneva about 7am. Looked all over in 35-50 fow. Came in at 11:30am with one. The Fish Ohio Report is wrong. You have to head north to 70 fow to find them in concentrations.

I agree with dgf2250, changing speed is a good technique when the bite gets tough along with switching spoons frequently to find the right color. Next try adjusting the depth of your spoons. Walleye...

Aug 4 report - Sheffield Lake/Avon Lake area

Before you read my report let me get on my soapbox. If you're reading reports, but not sharing (successes or failures) it doesn't help the walleye community. We all want to have a successful day on...
