We caught a 26 inch Muskie this spring around mouse just west of the ferry lanes

i use both types and i have to say, the big boards suit me better than the singles. i usually have two or more guys or gals with me. once set up, the big boards are really easy and i run them 80-100...

i believe the dockage rates in the huron basin (city owned) drop in august....might want to check it out. only a mile from the lake on the huron river and deep enough with no worries.

if you are talking about "the sandbar" Vermilion is closer......

good advice....i would go straight out just 6 miles from the huron light and troll east to 2 miles west from the vermilion river.......jmo.....good luck

the city ramp is free with plenty of trailer parking and the perch are at the huron dumping grounds just north west of the light house, 2 man limit in 4 hours...

30 lb. Spiderwire braid for me....8 lb diameter used for both casting and trolling (with 17 lb. mono leaders).
i have one reel that i spooled up in 2000, and still casts like new!......jmo....good...

as far as linecounters, just pull out 50' of line on your reels and spray paint the line.....go every 25' or so if you want until you buy some line counters.
some line counters are not that accurate...

i agree, however please put the rapalla tail dancers and deep dancers on your crankbait list. they too are very productive. perch colors and also the purples too....jmo...good luck!
