Thats called the 50+2 method......well with a line counter reel let the lure out 50ft then clip on a 2oz offshore snap weight or similar type then continue to let out line until you reach a total...

Hold both pieces behind knees firmly with knees together and hands wrapped outside of legs and pull knees apart...legs are stronger than arms..thats how i get them apart when they are super stuck...

I always run 2 stern planer...i have alot of success with them..rods vertical to keep lines above water so they run true back from rod instead of centering behind boat..i run 200 to 250 behind boat...

Hi thanks so much for all the helpful post..i just have one question. When you say from shortest to longest when using the same lure lets say bandit deep...you run inside at 30 then next 40 then 50...

Got out with the kids and set up at 6:30 and got 6 fish in 1.5hr and lost one before heading back home because kids have school...fish are all over from shore all the way to 46ft of water..40-42 feet...

Heard somebody got a limit yesterday evening and people marking and catching in 40-43'..also at night some catching from shore..o and the people trolling catching real high in the top 12' so bandits...
