    Re: Perch fishin

Yeah. I recklessly launched and retrieved myself out there from the dock-less state launch. Apparently, Hanover did put one of their launching docks back in recently…with a lengthy line that follows...

    Re: Perch fishin

Went last Wednesday… Docks/Launches were pulled from what appears to be dredging. Went up the road to the state launch. No docks there either and from what has been posted, there won’t be launching...

Re: how is fishing in buffalo

Fished same area. The slobs were out 5pm-9pm Wednesday. Got 3 6-8lbers on sticks.

Thursday same timeframe and area. 1 sheepshead and a lot less activity on the screen.

    Practically identical...

Re: how is fishing in buffalo

Unless I’m mistaken…it’s where the international line makes a 45 degree(ish) angle. If you were to make a straight shot out of the south entrance to the line, it’s not far off to the southwest of...

Hey HR, it seemed as if there were better reports coming from that area for both walleye and perch lately. Were you marking perch schools in that depth? I know they’re still supposedly thick in that...

Re: how is fishing in buffalo

    Fished from 5-10 p.m. yesterday.

Since all I've heard from ice out is that fishing is about two weeks ahead of normal patterns I decided to start out near the elbow and work my way in from there....

Re: how is fishing in buffalo

Hit the windmill area in approximately 35 to 40 feet of water from 6:30 AM till noon and I only managed five sheepshead all on harnesses and nothing took sticks. Marked very sporadic pods of fish......

Re: how is fishing in buffalo

Couldn’t even get my 3rd line set in the water from 7-9:30am. Continuous action on a mixed bag of fish. All on sticks @1.7.

Finally got the 3rd line in (worm harness) and only one perch from...

Right on. I’ll be out the next two days, primarily jigging main entrance (middle gap) area. See if the electronics are telling a different tale in that area as well. There’s always the river itself...

Anyone head out for the opener?

Was pretty choppy out there yesterday as I unsuccessfully worked the windmills and south entrance... Anyone having any sort of success just yet?

So, have a quick question. This year was my 1st year with lead core. I was running an 8’6”...
