Nice report Jules. Are the docks in at Huron. Might try somewhere Sunday or the first of next week.

    Re: Ramp's

That would be great. I'm shooting for next week. Gonna try north west of Catawba maybe rattlesnake. I'm itching to get out. I read that report sounds like the walleye are hungry. Good luck.

    Re: Walleye S E of Kelly's

There is a thought. I might give that a try. Probably can glue them in. Have you done this before. What kind of wood. Probably treated cedar would be good.

    Re: Walleye S E of Kelly's

That is a pretty good set up. Rubber band didn't break on a respectable 20" walleye but it did pull out of clip also moving back 1 space where the main line attaches to the board helped tighten the...

    Re: Walleye S E of Kelly's

    Re: Walleye S E of Kelly's

That's all great advice. It was pretty choppy that day two footers maybe the occasional three so conditions weren't the best. Love the clothes hanger idea I'm going to give that a try and also try...

    Re: Walleye S E of Kelly's

There are 3 holes to clip the main line to the board. The person I bought them from had a key ring in the middle hole. I'll try using the hole behind it. Should open the plane up and push the board...

Bandits and flickers 120 back unassisted. Perch colored got the big boy. Was marking fish all over the place any where between 10 and 40 feet. I started out in 40 and stopped in 44 feet.

    Re: Walleye S E of Kelly's

Makes sense. These boards are older the brand name is Rivera. The have hinges to open and close. They are plastic with foam core. I'm wondering if I had them backwards. I had the Pointed edge going...

So true Bob.....I almost lost a net trying to reach for a walleye that got away. Wanted to jump in after it.
  20. Re: Fishing with Bob and Bruce Brenton 10/2-5/2023

You made my day with that story. I love fishing late in the year by the light house for perch. Omg !! would I like to catch a perch that size. Never netted a perch before but that one I would for...

    Re: Walleye success

Thanks for the report. Water cooling down I'm ready to get my lines wet. Not sure where I want to go. Wasn't thinking the reefs might have to give that a try.

    Re: Geneva 9/29

Hopefully you and your fishing buddy we're the only two in the boat then six keepers wouldn't be a total loss. Curious how you get your bandits down 55 ft I'm sure you're using weights what size and...
