We were part of it. Amazing sight and I think there had to be more than 1000 boats. There were still boats around the starting point as the lead boats went past Catawba on the way to PIB.

I have left hand retrieve. They work fine. They are available for most of the line counter reels - Shimano, Daiwai and Okuma all have them.

The water has been high so not sure if that 9 ft. is accuratge. It is a simple matter to call and have them raise the bridge. Normally, not much wait time. I just went through last weekend.
